ABOUT US Gelada (also means: african baboon) is an illustration, design and production studio, a multidisciplinary art center and a contemporary platform for illustrators, designers, artists and collectors.

The studio was established in 2007 in Yafo by Yaron Mendelovici in collaboration with Osnat Feitelson. Since 2018 Gelada is located in the vibrant area of Romano House in Tel Aviv.

For the last decade, Gelada maintains collaborations with an exclusive roster of artists, working together on “Made-in-Tel Aviv” independent projects in the spirit of travel and leisure. Gelada's specialties range from the design of series of prints on textiles and paper products, to branding, management and production of visual content for a variety of clients.

It is a one-stop-shop that offers the customer a vision through dialogue, planning and production up to the finishing and launching of a precise final product Gelada's client list is diverse and includes Wix, Selina, the Municipality of Frankfurt, Graphic Days Berlin, the Jerusalem Film Festival, the Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow, Universal Music Group, Tel Aviv – Yafo Municipality, and more.

 The Studio Shop in Simtat Beit Habad, Tel Aviv, is the physical meeting point of our creative endevors, where we often present exhibitions, host live shows by local musicians, meet with artists, and on weekends open the shop nightly and turn into a small local bar, often with a DJ, for artists, musicians and guests to meet and drink wine, surrounded by curated space full of prints, t-shirts and a vinyl selection.
